Hangover Cure Smoothie

Have you tried my Hangover Cure Smoothie yet?! Don’t worry, you don’t have to be hungover to drink it, it is also great to settle stomachs and relieve nausea. It is packed with electrolytes to help hydrate you, ginger to soothe the stomach and energy to refuel you after a big night out!


The number one way to prevent a hangover is to not drink at all. If you have had a few to many though, here is a simple smoothie recipe that will help lessen your symptoms.


  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 tsp grated ginger root (you can use dry ground ginger but fresh is best!)
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • a pinch of salt
  • 200ml trim milk (or use almond, rice or soy)
  • 2-3Tb light vanilla yoghurt
  • 4 ice cubes

Blend all ingredients together, drink and recover.
